Open Air Virtual Rules and Regulations
Rules and Regulations for Membership at Open Air Virtual.
1.1) The applicant must be in possession of a legal copy of Flight Simulator X, Flight Simulator Steam, Flight Simulator 2020, Prepar3D or X-Plane on the Windows platform.
1.2) The applicant must be at least 18 years old at the date of application and able to communicate in English.
1.3) The applicant must submit their real identity and a valid e-mail address. Failure to do so will result in a permanent ban.
1.4) The applicant must show professionalism and realism within the organization and when conducting Online Operations. Which means that at all times you will show respect to other members and staff of our airline and other airlines.
1.5) All registrations must be submitted by the pilot applying not by anyone else on behalf of the applying pilot.
1.6) Open Air Virtual uses TeamSpeak 3 as a communication aid, pilots shall refrain from bothering other pilots while they are in flight.
1.7) Open Air Virtual welcomes users with Flight Simulator X, Flight Simulator Steam, Prepar3D or X-Plane on the Windows or Apple platform.
1.8) Open Air Virtual Pilots will record their flight and submit a (Pilot) Report by using kACARS Free.
1.9) Open Air Virtual Pilots must not be abusive or threatening towards other pilots or staff. Failure to comply will result in being removed from Open Air Virtual without notice.
1.10) The Open Air Virtual Managment retain the right to remove any pilot from Open Air Virtual at any time for any reason we deem fit.
1.11) Although there is no obligation to fly on a network we encourage pilots, who feel up to it, to fly on the VATSIM network.
1.12) New pilots are required to submit their first pirep within 28 days of their application after which full membership will be granted.
